Without Expectation Is Better Than With Expectation..

I just came back from my 5 days 4 nights Hong Kong trip. Overall it was a great trip and I am able to refresh myself again. Hmm...what can I say about the trip ? Although it was a tiring one but it worth the effort to go around by own feets, compare to following a tour guide, which usually by coach/bus.

We have tried many types of transportation in Hong Kong, such as ferry when to Macau, local buses, top open air doubel deck bus and subway not to be missed.  Hong Kong really a shopping paradise with so many cheap things to offer but too bad my time on shopping is limited and abit rush. If not I definitely will buy more stuff from there. There are few famous shopping spots such as Lady's Street,Garden Street, Stanley Market for branded stuff and even disneyland have more stuff to buy too ! I wish I have brought enough HKD for that purpose. Haha.....

But 1 thing good about HK geographical location is that it located right next to the sea side and the weather is very windy all the time during our trip. Although it's sunny but it's windy. You will not feel hot or sun burn at all.

Day 1
After check in to the hotel near to Flower Market street (reachable at MongKok station), we take a stroll along Flower Market street where lots of cheap stuff on sell. It's like Petaling street in Kuala Lumpur. But it's more stuff compare to that one. The cloths quite cheap, it can go to 4 pieces for HKD 100 the cheapest. If convert back to RM, definitely worth to buy.

We managed to visit a very famous template, 'Wong Tai Sin' template too 1st day. We  It's right near to the 'Wong Tai Shin' subway station. So quite easy to locate it but you must know which exit to take.

After that we need to check in again for the 2nd room since it's still not available yet when we arrived.
Then we went to a shopping mall to meet with my husband friend, a HongKie that plan to bring us to try on the famous 'Sham Tseng' roasted goose. We walk for a short distance to reach a bus station and then took a bus. We walk for a distance after getting down from the bus, which we cannot recall what station is that already. But I think if by taxi, the driver should know where to take you after you tell him the famous roasted goose. When we reached the restaurant in Sham Tseng (深井) called Yue Kee (裕记), it was full of people with a very long queue. Many people are waiting outside. But since my husband friend know the owner, so we were able to escape the long queue. 1 whole roasted goose cost about HKD 320, it was about RM 160, consider quite expensive. Usually hongkie eat the goose together with a type of noodle in soup, the one malaysian used to make penang laksa. The soup was quite sweet & tasty. The roasted goose, no words can describe it. The aroma is nice in the mouth, although you can see a thick oil stuff under the goose skin but when you put it into your mouth, it melt and full of aroma. Normally i don't take much duck meat but this time I ate man pieces of the goose meat. It was unresistable ! Definitely will come again.

Next we went for Hong Kong very famous dessert in Sham Tseng (深井). It was packed too when we reach there. Luckily we are early if not have to queue up too. We have order mango pudding, durian sagu dessert, durian wrap, strawberry + mango + watermelon juice. All are very tasty and full of aroma. After that, it's time to say good bye to my husband friend. We took subway back to 'Prince Edward' station to shop at Ladies' Market. It was almost 11:30pm when we got back to hotel.

Day 2
We woke up quite early the next day because we plan to join the half day trip guided by local tour guide. The bus picked us up at 7:25 am. Then we depart to 'Wan Chai' in Hong Kong Island for sight seeing. We went to a restaurant for breakfast first before depart to Hong Kong island. First we visist Goden Bauhinia Square located near to sea port. It was very windy and the weather is greatfor photo taking. We learned that it can fine up to HKD 5000 if you smoking in a smoking prohibited area. Then next we go to 'Bei Fong Tong'(香港仔避风塘), where Jumbo Kingdom located. We saw lots of stylish boat embark on the port. All of this boat mostly own by rich people in Hong Kong, including some artist/singer as well like Jacky Chan.
